COOKIE POLICY
This page describes the cookies and similar tools used by the website galgoelectronics.com, and the third-party services the site loads. Who the data controller is and how to exercise your rights is explained on the Privacy Policy page.
What is described here matches what the site loaded when it was checked on 30/09/2026.
WHAT COOKIES ARE
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in the visitor's browser, to recognise it in later requests or to remember a choice. Other browser tools work in the same way, such as local storage and session storage: when this page talks about cookies, it means them too.
Technical cookies make the site work and do not require consent. The others (functional, analytics and advertising) can only be used with the visitor's consent.
THIS SITE'S TECHNICAL COOKIES
- lcr_consent: remembers the choice made in the cookie banner (which categories were accepted and when). It lasts 12 months.
- lcr_chiuso (browser session storage): if the banner is closed without choosing, it avoids showing it again during the same visit. It is deleted when the tab is closed.
- usr and rap_preview: they only concern the people who work on the site, respectively for logging into the content management area and for previewing it. They are deleted when the browser is closed and are not written on visitors' devices.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The site loads the following services, provided by other companies that process the data as independent controllers under their own policies.
- Google Tag Manager, provided by Google Ireland Limited (Dublin, Ireland): loads the measurement tools configured by the site, which are described separately in this list. It sets no cookies, but receives the IP address of the device. It loads when the page containing it is opened. Privacy policy.
- Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited (Dublin, Ireland): measures, in aggregate form, how many people visit the site and which pages they read. It is only activated if you accept analytics cookies in the banner. Before the choice, or if the choice is a refusal, it sets no cookies, but it may send Google signals without cookies or identifiers, which Google uses in aggregate form. Privacy policy.
- Zoho PageSense, provided by Zoho (for Europe Zoho Corporation B.V., Utrecht, the Netherlands): analyses how visitors use the pages (for example clicks, scrolling and goals reached) in order to improve them. It sets its own cookies, uses browser storage and receives the IP address of the device. It is only activated if you accept analytics cookies in the banner. Privacy policy.
- Zoho SalesIQ, provided by Zoho (for Europe Zoho Corporation B.V., Utrecht, the Netherlands): provides the chat for talking to the company. It sets its own cookies and receives the IP address of the device. It is only activated if you accept functional cookies in the banner. Privacy policy.
- Zoho Marketing Automation, provided by Zoho (for Europe Zoho Corporation B.V., Utrecht, the Netherlands): records visits to the site and the path between pages, also linking them to contacts already known to the company, for its marketing activities. It sets its own cookies and receives the IP address of the device. It is only activated if you accept advertising cookies in the banner. Privacy policy.
- Google reCAPTCHA, provided by Google Ireland Limited (Dublin, Ireland): protects the site's forms from automated submissions. It may use cookies and browser storage, and sends Google the IP address and information about the browser. It does not depend on the choices made in the banner. It loads when the page containing it is opened. Privacy policy.
- Zoho Campaigns, provided by Zoho (for Europe Zoho Corporation B.V., Utrecht, the Netherlands): manages the newsletter subscription. The form loads scripts and images from Zoho's servers, which may set their own cookies and receive the IP address of the device. It does not load when pages are opened: it only receives data when you submit the sign-up form. Privacy policy.
Some of these providers belong to groups based outside the European Union, and data may be transferred to those countries: the safeguards adopted for the transfer are set out in their policies.
CONSENT
On the first visit the site shows a banner that lets you accept all cookies, reject those that are not necessary or choose them by category: necessary (always active), functional, analytics and advertising. You can change your mind at any time from the button at the bottom left of the page, which reopens the preferences.
Closing the banner with the X does not express any choice: no non-necessary cookie is activated, and the banner is shown again on the next visit.
The site counts, day by day, how many times “Accept all”, “Reject” or a custom choice were selected, without recording who made the choice.
HOW TO MANAGE COOKIES IN THE BROWSER
Every browser lets you view, limit or delete the cookies received from the sites you visit, including only third-party ones. Up-to-date instructions are in the help pages of the browser you use: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari. Blocking technical cookies may prevent some parts of the site from working.
